“What you are is what you have
been. What you will be is what you do now." - Buddha
“If you want to know your
past life, look into your present condition. If you want to know your
future life, look at your present actions.” - Padmasambhava

Whence :
- If your present actions come from your present condition, your future will be same (may be slightly altered or modified version) as your past – Probable and almost certain future !
- If you don’t want your present actions to come from your present condition, drop your attachment to what you know (your story) as that is what your present condition is.
- If present actions don’t come from present condition, then they have to be without reason and motive and may as well look impossible and even stupid - as all reasons and motives / boundaries of what is possible and acceptable are defined by present condition. Be unreasonable, impossible and stupid!
- Once you have dropped your present condition, your actions – unreasonable by definition – will create a new future for you. Conversely, you may invent any future for your life but be forewarned that the present actions that will take you to that future must be / must seem to be unreasonable, impossible and stupid - by definition.
And of course, you can choose to
forever stand in the present, devoid of any condition (having dropped your
past) – the nothing, shunya, the realm of infinite possibilities, the state of
infinite potency – the Brahman, Atman, Nirvana, Moksha, Liberation, Salvation,
Tao, Nishkam Karma, all rolled into ONE !
Or you can create out of this
state of infinite potency by crossing over the language threshold – OM,
AMEN, WORD, HU, KALMA
